Our Commitment

Operation Combating Veteran Suicide is committed to our veterans

Our commitment is to create a comprehensive network that addresses the unique challenges faced by veterans. By fostering partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies, we aim to ensure that every veteran has access to the resources they need to thrive.

We believe that through education and awareness, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and promote a culture of support. Our programs are designed not only to provide immediate assistance but also to empower veterans to take charge of their futures by equipping them with the skills and resources necessary for long-term success.

Additionally, we prioritize community engagement by organizing outreach events and support groups that encourage veterans to share their experiences and build connections with one another. Together, we can create a robust support system that reinforces the message that no veteran is alone in their struggle.

Operation Combating Veteran Suicide is dedicated to advocacy and policy reform, working tirelessly to ensure that the needs of veterans are represented. Through these efforts, we strive to cultivate a safer and more supportive environment for those who have served our country, ultimately reducing the risk of suicide among veterans.

Our mission is clear: to honor our veterans by providing them with the care and support they deserve, helping them to navigate challenges, and celebrating their contributions to our society. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.

Our Founders

Founders of Operation Combating Veteran Suicide, Casey and Charlotte Rupp

With their combined experiences and passion for serving those who have served, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Rupp established OCVS as a beacon of hope for veterans in need. Casey's firsthand experience as an Iraqi Freedom combat veteran gives him a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by veterans, particularly those who have endured physical and emotional scars from their service. His journey of recovery and adaptation has fueled his determination to create a supportive environment for fellow veterans.

Charlotte's extensive background in advocating for veteran services complements Casey's mission. Over the past two decades, she has worked tirelessly in various roles, from case management to outreach programs, gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of veterans' lives. Her dedication to understanding and addressing the specific needs of veterans has been instrumental in shaping OCVS's approach to service delivery.

Together, they have built a dynamic team committed to providing holistic support. OCVS offers a range of programs, including counseling services, vocational training, and community-building activities that foster connection and resilience among veterans. They recognize that each veteran's journey is unique, and thus tailor their services to meet individual needs.

Through collaboration with mental health professionals, local businesses, and veteran organizations, OCVS aims to create a sustainable support system that empowers veterans to reclaim their lives and pursue their goals. The Rupp’s believe that every veteran deserves the chance to thrive and are dedicated to dismantling the barriers that hinder their success.

As OCVS continues to grow, Casey and Charlotte remain steadfast in their mission, inspired by the stories of resilience and hope they encounter every day. They envision a future where all veterans have access to the resources and support necessary to lead fulfilling lives, ensuring that their sacrifices are honored and never forgotten.
